the brown shadows on this look so antique, but it still has that dry freshness to it; very pretty. did you know the Blue Angels' (and astronauts') helmet visors are gold-plated so they can look into the sun? I tried one on; it doesn't make the world look like this picture, though.
Thanks for the suggestion, Lindsey. An interesting complement to our Earhart. I also like reading about authorship scandals and wonder how much was generated over the simple fact that she was a woman.
And no, Lindsay, I did not know that about the Blue Angels; it reminds me of early scientific experiments that studied properties of atoms by beaming light through metal.
